Shop Talk: Baba Souk

I’m not going to lie…I was thrilled to see an email notification that the Baba Souk shop opened. Baba Souk’s pinterest is one of my fave follows because the pins are always fresh, minimal and inspiring [the trifecta in my book]. Now they have a facebook so make sure you like their page. I fell in love with everything in the shop. Oh and did I mention that they wrap all of their items for FREE! Their motto: “Even if it is not a gift, it is still a gift for you!” That certainly makes life easier during the holiday. Check out my top 5 favorite handmade items.

one: I’m loving these Scandinavian Christmas Postcards – perfect to wish your family and friends a happy holiday season!

two: Six Mini Pastel plates will dazzle your table and since they are handmade they are one of a kind.

three: Hand-printed, graphic, and inspiring? Yes please!

four: I love the triangular shape of the Ladybug baba pillow – plus each side is unique [and colorful].

five: I think I drooled a little when I saw the Gold & Cube Necklace. The presentation is stunning and I love the extra touch of the washi tape. The minimalist nature of the Baba Souk jewelry is something that I appreciate and love.

What do you think of the Baba Souk shop?

Shop Talk: Poketo

Have you heard of Poketo? Well if you haven’t you are in for a treat! I first noticed a couple of their items on pinterest. One of my favorite blogs, featured the Poketo store opening in LA and I fell in love with the way that the flagship store looks. Since I am in Syracuse and not LA I can dream and order online (and their site is inspiring too)! Here are my favorite items.

Shop talk: West Elm

Are you gearing up for spring/summer? Spring came early to Syracuse, but today it’s a little gloomy. Seeing the new arrivals at West Elm brightened up my day and made me so excited for warm summer days. Being a Long Islander landlocked here in Central NY I was thrilled to see all the nautical details. I’m a sucker for anything anchor themed…gasp the secret is out. Here’s a sneak peak of my favorite things. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
